How long are the rituals?
Each session is customized based on your scalp condition and chosen ritual. Treatments range from approximately 40 to 120 minutes, combining scalp evaluation, targeted care, and relaxation.

Who performs the service?
A Licensed Esthetician (LE), Certified Trichologist, and Certified Reiki Practitioner (RP).

Is it suitable for dandruff, itch, oily, or sensitive scalps?
Yes. Every protocol is adapted to your scalp type and current condition.

Do I need a Head Spa if I don’t have scalp concerns?
Yes. A Japanese Head Spa can also be enjoyed as a wellness and maintenance ritual for deep cleansing, relaxation, and ongoing scalp care.

How many sessions do I need?
Frequency depends on your scalp condition, needs, and goals. A personalized treatment schedule may be recommended following your scalp evaluation.

Are there extra charges for long hair or specific textures?
Yes. Long hair: +$30; coily/curly textures: from $25; extensions: from $50. Confirmed during your evaluation before starting.

Can I add Tailored Upgrades?
Yes. Options include LED Therapy, high frequency, aromatherapy, and a mini facial (no extractions).

Does it include blow-dry or styling?
Blow-dry (from $50) or flat iron (from $20) can be added as extras.

What results can I expect?
A lighter, cleaner, and more balanced scalp immediately, with improved scalp condition over time.

Skincare and MedSpa

How does Solace Spa customize facials and peels?
Every facial begins with an in-depth skin evaluation to identify your needs and goals. Treatments are tailored for hydration, anti-aging, acne control, or brightening results.

Are facials suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. We customize each protocol and product selection based on your skin sensitivity and condition.

How does Solace Spa use the Fitzpatrick classification?
We assess your Fitzpatrick skin type during evaluation to help guide peel selection and treatment parameters based on your skin tone, sensitivity, and individual needs.

Can peels be done on all skin types?
Many skin types can benefit from chemical peels, but candidacy, peel selection, and strength depend on skin type, sensitivity, current condition, and contraindications.

What’s the downtime for chemical peels?
Downtime varies by peel and skin response. Some treatments may cause little to no visible peeling, while others may produce dryness or flaking for several days. Daily SPF and appropriate aftercare are essential.

What’s the difference between Microchanneling and Microneedling?
Both treatments create controlled microchannels in the skin to support rejuvenation. The technique, device, treatment depth, and protocol may differ depending on the concern being treated. At Solace Spa, the appropriate method is selected based on your skin evaluation and goals.

Reiki Healing

What is Reiki?
A gentle, non-invasive energy therapy that helps you relax, release emotional tension, and restore balance.

Who performs it and how long is a session?
A Certified Reiki Practitioner (RP); standard sessions last about 45 minutes.

How often is Reiki recommended?
Weekly, biweekly, or monthly—depending on your stress levels and goals.

Can Reiki be combined with facials or Head Spa?
Yes. Reiki can complement facials and Japanese Head Spa treatments to support relaxation and the overall wellness experience.

Any contraindications?
Reiki is generally safe and complementary to other treatments, but it does not replace medical care.

Memberships and Packages

What memberships do you offer?
SOLACE SPA offers three membership options designed around consistent skincare, Japanese Head Spa care, and complete skin and scalp wellness. Each membership includes designated monthly services and exclusive member privileges, as specified in the selected membership plan.

Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. Monthly memberships require a 4-month minimum commitment; then they renew month-to-month.

Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. Monthly memberships may be frozen one time only, for a maximum of 3 consecutive months, with written notice 7 days before your next billing.

Do unused services roll over?
No. Services must be used within the monthly cycle to encourage consistency.

What are the member benefits?
Benefits vary by membership and may include savings on selected services, Tailored Upgrades, professional products, and exclusive member offers.

Is there an activation fee?
Yes. A one-time $25 activation fee applies when you first enroll.

Do you offer annual memberships?
Yes. Annual memberships are available at a discounted rate.

Microcurrent

Does microcurrent hurt?
No. Microcurrent is generally very comfortable and often barely perceptible. Some clients may experience a mild tingling sensation depending on sensitivity and treatment intensity.

When will I see results?
Some clients notice a more lifted, toned, and defined appearance after the first treatment. Results vary and may become more progressive with consistent treatments.

How often should I get a Sculpt Facial?
For more progressive toning and contouring, a series of treatments may be recommended. Frequency is customized based on your goals, response to treatment, and maintenance needs.

How is microcurrent different from Botox or fillers?
Microcurrent is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-level electrical current to support facial toning and contouring. Unlike injectables, it does not add volume or temporarily reduce muscle movement.

Can I receive microcurrent after Botox, fillers, or another facial procedure?
Timing matters. If you recently received Botox, dermal fillers, facial surgery, or another advanced facial treatment, please contact SOLACE SPA before booking so we can determine the appropriate waiting period.

Can microcurrent be combined with other facial treatments?
Yes. Microcurrent can complement many professional skincare treatments. The combination and timing will be customized according to your skin, treatment history, and goals.

Who should avoid microcurrent?
Microcurrent is not suitable during pregnancy or for clients with a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device, epilepsy or seizure disorders, or active cancer. Medical clearance may be required for heart conditions, diabetes, thyroid conditions, or following recent facial surgery. Please contact SOLACE SPA before booking if you are unsure.

Brows and Lashes

What services do you offer?
Brow lamination & tint, lash lift & tint—each customized for natural definition and balance.

How long do results last?
Typically 6–8 weeks, depending on hair growth and aftercare.

Are treatments safe for sensitive eyes or skin?
Sensitivity varies from person to person. If you have known allergies, very sensitive eyes or skin, or a history of reactions to lash or brow products, please let us know before your appointment so we can determine whether the treatment is appropriate for you.

Any prep before my appointment?
Arrive with clean lashes/brows and avoid waterproof mascara or oils 24 hours prior.

Post-care tips
Avoid water, steam, or oils for 24 hours, then brush and nourish gently to maintain shape and softness.

Waxing

What areas do you wax?
Face and body waxing available using gentle, precise, and skin-safe methods.

How should I prep?
Exfoliate 24–48 hours prior; avoid retinoids 3–5 days before your appointment.

Is waxing suitable for sensitive skin?
Waxing may be suitable for sensitive skin depending on your individual sensitivity, skin condition, and current skincare use. Please let us know about any known sensitivities or reactions before treatment.

Post-care advice
Avoid sun, sauna, and tight clothing for 24 hours; keep skin hydrated.

Hair length required
¼ inch (~6 mm) for best results.

Bookings and Policies

How do I book an appointment?
You can easily book online anytime. We accept most major credit cards and Afterpay for your convenience. Early booking is recommended for weekends or holidays.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a 50% fee.

Gift Certificates & Promotional Appointments Policy

Gift certificates, promotional services, giveaways, and complimentary appointments are subject to the same booking, cancellation, and rescheduling policies as all reserved appointments at Solace Spa.

Appointments modified or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the reserved service or promotional benefit, as the appointment time was specifically reserved and cannot typically be refilled on short notice.

Promotional and complimentary appointments are limited to one booking opportunity and are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.

Do you accept late arrivals?
Arrivals more than 10–15 minutes late may shorten your session to respect the next guest’s schedule.

Do you require deposits?
A 50% deposit is required for select services. Card or cash accepted; gratuity not included.
